Tai Chi Chuan

Tai chi chuan is a form of moving meditation that uses breathing and relaxed movement to calm the mind, promoting chi and blood flow through the body helping to improve health and develop

martial arts skill.

Tai chi's gentle, low impact movements burn more calories than surfing. Researchers have found that long-term tai chi practice

Taoist Yoga

Taoist yoga or "K’ai Men" meaning open door

 

K’ai Men is the Taoist form of Ch’i Kung or energy activation, control and utilization, and with practice will lead to Li Kung (Energy of the Universe) supply and storage.

Within the main sections of K’ai Men there are five ‘openings’ (K’ou) or ‘doorways’ (Men K’ou). These are:

  • Spirit

  • Mind

  • Body

  • Energies

  • Healing
